Hey all, it's Angel with Assistant Angel and the owner of the Virtual Assistant Training Network. Something funny has happened where our systems are changing or are down and one of the most important tips for managing your virtual assistant business and your clients is to make sure you have a backup plan. So days like today, when we had all these things planned, I have to run to a different location to get wi-fi and make sure that we can get the tasks done.
Make sure that you have your files backed up
Make sure you have your emails on multiple devices. Also, that you have somebody else who's able to physically do the job. If we have things happening and one of us can't do it, a member of our team, we all jump in. They're really, really good. Our team is amazing and helpful and they're all so skilled that they can do each other's jobs effortlessly. It's pretty incredible.
Be sure you have great wi-fi
One of the things I have to do today is juggle around wi-fi, but at the end of the day, it's most important that the clients are taken care of. Sometimes that means heading to the library or even the coffee shop to find a reliable wi-fi signal. You can even use your cell phone as a hotspot to connect for as long as you need to get your work completed.
The key to having a backup plan is to just be flexible
Your clients know and trust you and you want to make sure that you give them incredible service. My encouragement today is to just make sure you have a good backup plan. Make sure that you have a way to protect yourself and your clients online. We have cool tools you can utilize or even leaning on colleagues if needs be. Either way, you'll crush it when you've got a backup plan! I'll talk to you soon.
